Dawes Horizon Touring bike

  

A lovely example of a great touring machine. Hardly ever used (probably about 50-100 miles) from new in around 1993. So there are one or two age related marks here and there, but as you can see from the photos nothing really noticeable. This machine is all origonal apart from new tyres, bar tape, and cables, inners.

You get a Reynolds 501 frame set 21 inch the fork blades are 531 but, the decals were cracking with age, so I removed them. Alesa rims, Shimano Exage hubs, Shimano Deor LX triple crank set with origonal pedals. Shimano Exage 300 LX rear deraillier conected to Shimano index shifters, clicking you through a seven speed block. The front meck is a Shimano 300 LX triple shifter.

So all together you have 21 speeds. Theres a Bor Yueh rear carrier rack, Vitta gel saddle and Dawes engraved handlebars. Weinmann cantilever brakes powered by Shimano Exage brake levers. The origonal bottle cage and bottle and the pump. Thanks for showing interest, regards Chris.
